Charcuterie, sushi and dessert stay fresh longer when displayed on our chill boards. Ice in a Dubler chills the Boards that nest perfectly on top. The cutting boards are FDA approved for food contact and antimicrobial and dishwasher safe. The boards will stay chilled all day and all night. Light cubes can be used underneath in the ice for a very cool ambience.
Perfect for a wine and cheese party with everything displayed together. Use a Chill Board on one side for your charcuterie spread and ice bottles of wine on the other side. Set on a coffee table, kitchen island or a patio table in the middle of your get-together and enjoy.

I bought this for our boat and to entertain on our back patio, at a sailing club we belong to, and on the beach, as I hate trying to lay snacks out and then put them all away while in motion or near sand. Our back patio is also down a long flight of stairs so we tend to go there and then hang for a long time. I wish it had some mechanism for securing the lids or, even better, a master lid that could go over the top for travel. The clear tops also allow the sun in so things get hot even with the ice packs. Clear is fine when you’re serving food, but it would be nice to be able to put it away and cover when not in use so that it’s easier to take on and off the boat or in or out of the car. The construction of the cooler itself is very sound and I like the chaffing dishes. A 4lb Yeti ice pack fits perfectly on the bottom. The charcuterie board is an awkward size and isn’t as useful as it could be as if it sat inside the grooves and could be covered properly. I would probably buy it again but it needs more work on the execution to be amazing for my purpose.

Hi Meagan, thank you for your feedback. It sounds like most of your use is in direct sunlight, which is challenging on ice and most foods. We recommend shade, then the clear lids won't be an issue. The clear is actually a benefit when serving. FYI, metal chafing lids would heat up in direct sun and cause a bigger issue. Glad to hear you are happy with the quality of your cooler. it should last a lifetime. Your chill boards should nest inside the recessed ledge. We have never heard of them not. I think you might be referring to the lids not completely nesting when boards are in use. Most charcuterie displays are open and our Chill Boards help preserve charcuterie longer. The lids can still be placed on top to cover, just not the same nest as the lids on top of chafing pans. They are lift and serve like all chafer lids. They are mobile with lids on but you might want to try a 24" bungee cord from hand grip to hand grip, to secure lids better for your purposes with more movement.
